Torbutton is a core component of Tor Browser, a privacy-oriented fork of Firefox ESR by the Tor project. It is a Firefox add-on that provides a user interface in the browser to configure and monitor the privacy-oriented features of Tor Browser. You activate it by pressing the button that looks like an onion (the Tor logo).
